1. EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR:

Nightingales Medical Trust (NMT), a pioneering not-for-profit organization since 1998, is searching for a visionary Executive Director to lead our mission of enhancing the quality of life for elders and persons with dementia. Based in Bangalore, NMT is renowned for its impactful projects like Nightingales Centre for Ageing and Ageing, Sandhya Suraksha and a host of innovative initiatives in dementia care, elder abuse prevention, social integration and economic empowerment.

What We’re Looking For:

• A passionate leader with a postgraduate degree in Management, Social Work, or related fields.

• Proven senior management experience in NGOs, healthcare, or service organizations.

Role Highlights:

• Leadership and Program Management: Provide strategic direction and oversee the performance and impact of NMT’s diverse programs, including scaling up successful interventions and introducing innovative approaches in eldercare and dementia care .

• Strategic Partnerships and Advocacy: Establish collaborations with civil society organizations, governments, private sector entities, and philanthropies to enhance NMT’s reach and impact.

• Fundraising and Sustainability: Mobilize institutional, corporate, and individual donors, ensuring financial sustainability through innovative revenue generation models.

• Operational Excellence: Manage resources efficiently, foster team development, and ensure a positive, professional working environment.

• Innovation and Integration: Introduce new concepts and technologies to strengthen programs, enhance efficiency, and integrate interdisciplinary ideas within the organization.

• Research and Policy Influence: Lead research initiatives, contribute to policy development, and collaborate with government bodies to shape eldercare guidelines and practices.

• Compliance and Governance: Ensure adherence to statutory and legal requirements, maintaining the highest standards of organizational governance.

Compensation: • Competitive salary of Rs. 18 lakh per annum (negotiable based on experience).

2. SENIOR PROGRAM LEAD - DEMENTIA CARE

Nightingales Medical Trust (NMT) is a not for profit, non-governmental organization working to alleviate the different challenges faced by the elderly and those with Dementia for over 2 decades. The Trust has established various innovative and need based projects, focusing on dementia care, active ageing, elder abuse, social integration, economic empowerment and capacity building, catering to all sections of the society. Headquartered at Kasturinagar, Bangalore, NMT invites applications from dynamic and experienced individuals with a sense of commitment and passion to work for the the cause of Dementia and to join our team as Senior Program Lead –Dementia Care to lead our various dementia care services.

Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Senior Program Lead - Dementia Care at Nightingales Medical Trust Head office in Bengaluru. The role involves overseeing daily operations, ensuring the standards of care, managing staff, and promoting the Trust’s services through effective marketing strategies. The Senior Lead will also be responsible for financial oversight, including budgeting, resource allocation, and ensuring compliance with relevant standards.

Role Highlights:

● Overseeing the performance of 3 residential care facilities, 3 day care centers, memory clinics and active ageing programs

● Scaling up successful interventions, introducing innovative approaches and technologies in dementia care.

● Implementing effective systems and processes to ensure high standards of care

● Managing & building a multi-disciplinary team and ensuring positive professional working environment

● Promoting the dementia care services through effective marketing strategies. 

● Budgeting, reaching targets, ensuring financial sustainability and managing resources efficiently

● Ensuring adherence to statutory and legal compliances 

Eligibility

● 10+ years of experience in managing hospital or residential care settings.

● Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Healthcare or Hospital Management, coupled with a background in psychology or a related postgraduate degree

● Certification or specialization in Dementia, Mental Health, or Geriatric care is highly desirable.

Compensation: Ranging from Rs 7 lakh to Rs 9 lakh per annum based on experience

3. PROJECT MANAGER - NATIONAL HELPLINE FOR SENIOR CITIZENS (ELDERLINE)

As one of the projects, NMT is also running National Helpline for Senior Citizens (Elderline) for the state of Karnataka (Call No. 14567), located at RT Nagar, Bangalore, The project is funded by Government of India through National Institute of Social Defense.

NMT invites applications from dynamic and result oriented individuals with a sense of commitment and passion to work for the elderly as Project Manager at Elderline Karnataka.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary Range: CTC up to 65,000/- per month

Requirements:

Ø Post Graduate in Social Work or Counselling.

Ø At least 10 years of experience, including project management experience of 3 Years.

Ø Fluency in English, Kannada and Hindi with excellent verbal and written communication.

Role Highlights:

• Overall responsibility of service delivery, reports, dashboards and People management with respect to Elderline for the state of Karnataka, having a connect center with 10 seated call officers and Field Response Lead.

• Assume line management of Field, connect center, Communication, IT, Human Resource & Finance.

• Team management, building synergies and talents across teams and individuals to ensure high quality achievements & results.

• Working closely with state level government officials, allied departments, State level senior Citizens Welfare Committee and the Management & executive teams.

• Taking effective measures in popularizing the Helpline and its services & toll free number.

• Ensure monitoring performance by getting daily, monthly work done reports by utilizing dash board tools etc.

• Make significant contribution to the quality and quantity of institutional partnerships and partnerships with government.

• Identifying the problems in the implementation of the program and addressing them.

• Advocacy for the cause of elderly and ensuring various stakeholders are brought together for addressing the cause of age care. Organizing workshops,events,and meetings for furthering advocacy efforts

• Conducting research on the information received at the Helplines and preparing recommendations for govt schemes and policies.
