Nightingales Medical Trust is professionally managed by a Board of Trustees consisting of dedicated people from different fields of expertise.  The elders themselves are on the managing and coordinating committee at various levels.  The team also consists of medical professionals, lawyers, counselors, social workers and committed staff.

Founder Trustees

Dr. Radha Murthy is a pioneer in eldercare in Bangalore, with decades of experience in the welfare of the elderly. A medical graduate from St. John’s Medical College, she has worked as a highly respected doctor in the medical field. She was instrumental in starting the successful Nightingales Home Health Services and is currently the Managing Trustee of Nightingales Medical Trust. She has led the organisation with insight, determination and passion.

Mr. Premkumar Raja has decades of experience in community welfare and healthcare administration. A M.Phil in Demography, he has implemented various health-related programmes in various states. It was under his management and leadership that the Nightingales Home Health Services was implemented and it continues to impact many elders to this day. As a founder of Nightingales Medical Trust, he leads the organisation with skill, tact and vision.

Other Trustees

Mr. Basant Poddar has served as the Executive Director of Mineral Enterprises and has been involved in the mining and export of minerals.

Mr. Pankaj Lakhani is an industrialist who is currently the Managing Director of Bangalore Soft Drinks.

Mr. Amarnath Kamath is a chartered accountant who has chaired various trusts, overseen medical reliefs and charitable activities.

Mrs. Indra Menon serves as the CEO of Lakshmanan Isola Private Ltd., a company with Swiss equity participation. She was the youngest President of the Chamber of Industry and Commerce, Bangalore.
